Fiona has over 20 years’ experience in workforce and organisational development

and general management, plus over 6 years’ experience as a management consultant. She spent 7 years as an Executive Director of Workforce and OD in the NHS. Her main focus has been providing strategic human resources and OD expertise to Boards and Executive Management Teams, working in partnership and across organisational boundaries, managing and facilitating change in complex and demanding environments, aligning HR strategy with business strategy in a pragmatic and practical way, providing clarity and business translation in complex situations and developing individual and team capacity and capability. She is an accredited practitioner of a range of psychometric tools (Facet 5, MBTI, CPI 260) and accredited as a 360-degree feedback facilitator. Fiona has a particular interest in developing organisations to make more effective and efficient use of their people through positive performance management, staff engagement, coaching and developing greater self-awareness, developing management capability and generating greater understanding of the strategic people agenda.


She is co-author of the highly successful and practical book Human Resource

Practice published by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Fiona

became a welcome member of the PTP team in April 2014.
